MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

While Van McCoy was most renowned for his classic disco cut "The Hustle" he never achieved the same success subsequently. Rhythms Of The World did show he was still an accomplished composer and arranger and I quite like this album especially the title cut. Soul Cha Cha is pure Latin American style party music while The Shuffle was an attempt to cash in on "The Hustle" sound, but didn't quite do it.
