Nigerian singer Carol Jiani , who was born Uchenna Ikejiani, had a major hit with "Hit N Run Lover" in 1981. It was produced by Canadian producer Joe Le Greca who worked extensively with Denis LePage of Lime fame.

I never get tired of "Hit 'N' Run Lover" since it has a nice mix of funk, NRG and Disco. The Moby Dick Remix version, which is hollow and spacey sounding, is not as good as the definitive 7:07 standard version, which begins with the cowbell intro.

Carol Jiani also had moderate success with "Mercy" and "Touch and Go Lover."

Does anyone know if the original 7:07 is the same as the other original version 9:10 (on champagne label), or the 8 minute remix (on Unidisc)?
