Imagination hailed from the UK and they made a splash on this side of the Atlantic with 1982's "Just An Illusion." It was released by MCA in the US and has since become a Disco dance classic from the early 1980s.
Featured here is the original MCA Records 12 inch mix, which is different then the version used on some compilation CDs.

In its day, this song was played everywhere!! All the time!! At times the introduction songs at NBA Basketball games!! I remember going to CASANOVA'S with CIRO LLERENA to see this group perform. Talk about HIGH TIMES, we floated around as they played JUST AN ILLUSION for about ten minutes. The crowd at the club went totally nuts as they finished, but found it hard to leave the stage. So they did it all-over again!! Great night, DISCO CLASSIC! On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 10.
