NOTES:

Loleatta Holloway was born and raised in Chicago and got her start doing Gospel. In 1977 she made her move to Salsoul's Gold Mind Records to begin her career in Disco.

"Hit and Run" is unquestionably a Disco classic featuring the powerful vocals of Loleatta Holloway and vibes by Vince Montana Jr.

A super remix by the late Walter Gibbons makes it even more special. Loleatta Holloway went on with "Runaway" and " Love Sensation" and continued well into the '80's. She is also the featured vocalist on Dan Hartman's "Relight My Fire."

YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS ON Loleatta Holloway

Great song, a sure DISCO CLASSIC. Great dance song, pretty deejay friendly as well. A PRIME TIME PLAYER that had a long life in my clubs. On my scale from 1-10 it gets a 10.
