Isaac Hayes hails from Covington, TN and is one of the movers behind Memphis Soul.
Isaac is best remembered for "Theme From Shaft" from the Blaxploitation film of the early 1970s.
He continued with "Don't Let Go" and "Moonlight Loving (Menage a Trios)." He is also the voice of the Chef on the animated cable TV series South Park.

I played this song every night in the PRIME TIME HOURS for over six months, at 136 BPM it was HIGH-ENERGY before that term existed! I enjoyed mixing and remixing it, and this DISCO CLASSIC packed my floors. Of course it gets a !) on my scale from 1-10.
