MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

(The Best Part of) Breakin' Up was originally a Phil Spector production for The Ronettes back in 1964, but was redone and was a huge Disco hit in 1982 for Roni Griffith and Bobby Orlando on the Vanguard label.

Check out the flipside for Spys which is quite good. Other Roni Griffith songs included "Desire" also on Vangaurd Records.

TEN!! DISCO CLASSIC! Loved to play it, great introduction gave us many fabulous mixes!! One of those incredibly deejay friendly records. I had a few copies, and subsequently played many extended LIVE remix versions. On my scale from 1-10, it gets an easy 10!
