Feb 29, 2008 | 4:14 pmThis was a very good sequel record. Part II was just as big, if not bigger then part I. It had a strong drum presence, that made mixing very easy. It wasn't a PRIME TIME PLAYER , but it was close enough. Did very well as far as putting dancers on the floor. But if your chosen time of playing it was wrong, you could lose the floor. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 6.

Always liked Bohannon, and LOVE this song with Dr. Perri Johnson. I remember his Rap when he was on WDAS in the 70's and 80's. It REALLY pumps up this jam, and gets EVERYBODY on the dancefloor.

The first weekend upon returning to college (Fall, 1978) the original version of this song was THE hottest! Almost immediately, Philly's Dr. Perri Johnson was freestyling over this song on WDAS-FM, and this routine became the Remix version of which we speak in 1981. Johnson left WDAS at the end of 1979, and subsequently left a large hole in urban radio.
