Apologies. The copy pictured above is actually the second-issued promotional copy SPRO 8984; the number 8508 referred to in the synopsis above is the number of the commercial copy which is not pictured.

Issued twice as a promotional 12" by Capitol, initially as SPRO 8942, consisting of a 4:23 version of "Haven't Stopped..." b/w the 6:19 version of "Just Let It Lay", which side was numbered SPRO 8941 (Capitol had the odd procedure of often using different numbers on each side of a record on its promotional copies). The second promotional 12" issue of "Haven't Stopped..." was numbered SPRO 8984 and timed at 8:02 b/w "Just Let It Lay" at the usual 6:19 (however this time
numbered after "Haven't Stopped..." as SPRO 8985. The commercial copy pictured above is identical to this second promotional 12" in content and duration. We would opine that both promotional copies would be required in a serious 12" collection.

This was a huge DISCO CLASSIC that was mixed with such hits as IN THE BUSH, HAVE A CIGAR and any high energy, heavy percussion fast paced records of that time period. Great for mixing and remixing. Heavy play in the PRIME TIME HOURS for about a year. A must have!! a TEN!!

This was a huge radio disco hit in 1977-78 !!!
