Sweet Soul voices. The Three Degree are tuned by master Giorgio Moroder into a Disco rock group. Classic floor killer that stands the test of time!

The lead single off the second Three Degrees album with Giorgio Moroder, "Jump The Gun" didn't match the hits of their first stellar LP "New Dimensions" (1978) -"Givin' Up, Givin' In" (UK #12), "Woman In Love" (UK #3), and "The Runner" (UK #10). It was a surprisingly disappointing #48 in the UK charts - very undeservedly as it was an extremely catchy rock-steady-disco tune, much in the same vein as Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff" (not surprisingly, it was composed by the same composers Harold Faltermeyer & Keith Forsey). It really had deserved to be much bigger. Their second single off the album fared way better - "My Simple Heart" was far more traditional Philly-soul-ish and also made it to the UK #9.
