Devil's Gun is probably the biggest hit for C.J. & Co. (CJ and Company). Here's a rare promo only 12 inch single on the Atlantic / Westbound label, which is hard to find in nice shape. Very sought after.

Hi Disco Music great site thanks for mentioning Devils Gun.
Devils Gun was originally written and produced By UK songwriters and producers Ron Roker & Gerry Shury & Barry Blue for the Manchester Soul group Great Expectations in 1973, and the legendary Gerry Shury did the arrangement.
Later in 1977 CJ & Co covered the song in the States and did a great version even later still in 2001 Redman & Missy Elliot used the track for their rap song Dat b**** on Redmans Malpractice album. At the time in late 60's and early 70's they thought Soul & Disco was only coming from the States but the UK had soul too and many great bands and artists came out at that time.Best wishes
Ron
