Mar 19, 2009 | 5:36 pmI'm really not into disco, but I just heard this record and I'm blown away. I love the acoustic guitars. They add so much texture, something that to me has always been lacking in most disco. This is one of those records that transcends genres. A+

Mar 25, 2008 | 8:44 pmWhen you are talking about a DISCO CLASSIC record, this should be what crosses your mind. GARY'S GANG had to be THE MOST TALENTED DISCO BAND that didn't get it's due credit. This 12' record HAS TO BE IN YOUR COLLECTION. I can't stress that enough to get my point across. There are TWO GREAT recordings on this record. Get yourself a second copy, and eventually you TOO, can REMIX these songs.Even if you have never put on a pair of head-phones, you can't help it, they make it almost fool-proof. The PERFECT DISCO record, both songs have a fantastic introduction that are PERFECT for your entry mix. They are full of PERFECT breaks that allow for PERFECT exit mixes. In between is a PERFECT 126 beats per minute that allow a deejay to create as much magic as he wants. Go back and forth between the two, or just do it to one at a time. Sooner or later the MAGIC of these two songs take over and let YOU become a REMIXER. These two songs have that power! Seriously, they are that GOOD. Both, KEEP ON DANCIN' and DO IT AT THE DISCO would not only pack my dance floors, and keep them packed. But it didn't matter when you played them, or even where you played them. THEY ARE PERFECT!! The PERFECT dance beat goes way beyond your average record. I laugh at all those LISTS that RANK the best DISCO songs of all time, the authors of them simply over-look this PERFECT 12". It is right at the top of the BEST OF ALL TIME!! Are you getting my point yet, GARY'S GANG made magic, then bailed out, I understand their reasoning, once you create such PERFECTION, you might as well give it up, you'll never do better than this!! Do you understand how I feel about this record ?? In my book, they don't come any better. No scale needed, you should understand by now how strongly I feel about KEEP ON DANCIN and DO IT AT THE DISCO!!! If you have had a bad life, and never heard this song, go out and find this, it will improve your life, try it, you'll see I'm right!!

Jul 10, 2007 | 2:58 amKEEP ON DANCING a truely Disco master piece was under rated in late 70's but finally vindicate it by George Michael who sample it for his FLAWLESS hit single.
This is the only hit I knew from Gary's Gang but What a HIT!!!

Dec 26, 2003 | 11:49 amThis track "Keep On Dancing" was recorded at their house in Queens NY.

Try overlaying the intro of "Ring My Bell" on to the the extended break of "Keep On Dancing" For those using vinyl, you may need at least one 1500 to do it perfectly - easy to slip into disaster otherwise.
