Leif Garrett began as a child actor in 1967 and appeared on mumerous TV shows during the 1970s. In 1977 he began his music career and jumped on the Disco bandwagon in 1978 with "I Was Made For Dancin'" on Atlantic Records.
"I Was Made For Dancin'" is super cheesy, but tolerable and fun along the lines of David Naughton's "Makin' It."

Dec 26, 2003 | 11:50 amThis song was hardly a disco hit and certainly is NOT a disco classic !

More a pop hit than a bonafide disco hit...yet I still liked it.
