The Gap Band were formed in 1967 and morphed through the 70's in the Earth, Wind and Fire meets P-Funk model.

The Gap Band's best song is perhaps "I Don't Believe..." They later gave us "Burn Rubber On Me" and "You Dropped A Bomb On Me," which were bigger club and radio-wise.

The Gap Band ranks right up there with the likes of Cameo...
