LLS - Expansions is an important core jazz funk dance record. In my top 100 all time! It has the groove, funk, vocals, and jazz lines to grace any dance floor. However, it was at times during the mid to late 70's a rock steady, hustle, freeform dance anthem.
Lonnie crossed over and supplied the impetus for many jazz artists to take the plunge for dance music aficanados! I am glad he did! His followups did not quiet measure up to this GEM!!!
