MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Poussez! means to "push" in French. Poussez made a big spalsh with their first album, "Poo-Say" produced by Alphonse Mouzon. The track, "Come On and Do It" was the most played receiving the remix treatment for the 12 inch single by the late Roy Thode who took the moaning and groaning parts on the album version and extended that into the break.

Side A had both songs segued in a continous fashion. A classic Disco album and highly recommended.

Just released for the firt time on CD and taken from the original master tapes... Thie complete Poussez album along with a bonus track of the Roy Thode remix of "Come On and Do It."

Another case of the whole Lp being great and not just one throwaway hit and lots of filler.

The 4 songs stood out and gave the girls (I really mean Mr.Mouzon) a giant hit.
    Bravo !

Nice to know someone else likes this type of music. Also good to know their name isn't lost in translation....

OOps, I've been censored!!! the p**** stood for "pµ$$y".

I always wondered if the obvious sexual meaning of the name Poussez ("push") wasn't also a deformation of "P*u*ssy", as if pronounced with a foreign accent.

In any case, great album! I especially love "Boogie With Me", a true energy booster.
