NOTES:

Pamala Stanley may be better known for some of her early 80s productions (Coming Out of Hiding, If Looks Could Kill...), but this 1979 Disco LP is well worth checking out, full of good tunes and varied styles.

Euro-disco number "This Is Hot" starts Side A. The next track, "Hey, Mister Magic" is my favourite from the LP, quite different in style from the previous track. It features violins, piano, wah-wah guitar and is beautifully put together. "All I Want To Do Is Dance" continues the uptempo theme.

The B side of the LP has three uptempo numbers, and two ballads "What I Like Is You" and "I'm Never Gonna Let You Go". "Mr Sunshine" is disco with some dixieland thrown in.

YOUR REVIEWS & COMMENTS ON Pamala Stanley

25 years on the dance floor and I've yet to hear it. Somehow, I feel the potential via her big but so-so 80's hits. I bet it's great, and I'll know it right away if I ever hear it.
