This was the very first time I had heard of DEAD OR ALIVE. I was expecting a terrible cover of K.C.'s DISCO CLASSIC. What I got was a version every bit as solid as the original, but with a repeating hook that took hold on everyone who heard it. Great for mixing, and remixing. I would double up on those drum rips, and the result kept this record on my play list far longer than expected. This was a PRIME TIME PLAYER that always added to the dance floor. And it was like that everywhere! A very strong song that left me wanting more from DEAD OR ALIVE. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a very impressive 10.
