Very dated and sorta sucky; but I must admit this record gave me slim hope in my early 20's, when I felt hopeless amid AIDS and the sudden death of the music I loved so well.
"Two of Hearts" felt like a good try, throwing the kitchen sink of 1986 sounds up agsinst the crumbled wall of 70's dance cliches. Surprisingly, middle America got it, to the extent that the record made #3 on the Billboard Hot 100! No disco revival was forthcoming, anyway not for another decade.
