Classic Hi-NRG from the UK. From what I recall the Flirtations had their roots in Northern Soul. Another version of "Earthquake" called the "Sesurround remix" was later released on the Rumour label.
A later Flirtations track was "Read All About It" which wasn't of the same calibre as "Earthquake." Ian Anthony Stephens produced other Hi-NRG artists from the UK like Kelly Marie (Breakout) and Hazell Dean (Searchin'...)
