MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Radio station and A-list record pool DJ only release. I think this is actually the first Polydor 12 inch Disco single as I have never seen one with an earlier catalog number. Pro-001-005 were 7" (I believe).

Confirm this is the first Polydor 12" 007-009 are also likely 7" singles. Consecutive 12" singles started with 010, James Brown "Get Up Offa That Thing", followed by 011 Revelation, "You To Me Are Everything", 012 Rick Dees, "Disco Duck" etc etc etc. (the latter likely a significant catalyst to the 'Cominsky Park massacre" of 1979)

I wouldn't go as far as calling this the "Holy Grail", but this was a very great DISCO CLASSIC. Along with FAJARDO'S original version, I played it to death!! On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 10.

In e-bay this is referred to as the "Holy Grail" of the 12" releases. Would love to hear that 5:54 version of this awesome jam!
