NOTES:
Soon after contributing the song "Disco Queen" and "Last Dance" for the Thank God It's Friday soundtrack, the late Paul Jabara was hard at work with producer Bob Esty on his next LP entitled "Keeping Time."
"Pleasure Island" is the highlight of this Paul Jabara album. It's an over ten minute long sexual escapade that starts out low and slow and builds up to "almost" a frenzy. Let this song play through because it does start off slow. The rest of the album is fluff, but "Pleasure Island" is not to be missed.
Besides his own material, Paul Jabara is best known for writing many hit Disco songs including Donna Summer's "Last Dance" and "The Main Event" for Barbra Streisand. He also composed "The Lords of Flatbush" and appeared on the Broadway production of "Hair."
