This Fever single was a cover and mixed by the same team that later went on to found Megatone and forge ahead into Hi-NRG in the 1980's.
The most memorable thing about "Standing In the Shadows of Love" is the bass line, thereafter the vocals get to be annoying, but the song still holds up.
"Standing In the Shadows of Love" along with other Fantasy Disco classics is now on CD.

Feb 15, 2005 | 9:34 amFEVER a west coast minimalist disco-funk act on the Fantasy label. Their track "Standing in the shadows of love" is a funky cover version, best heard on the 12".

Not one of their best works, got some air play, but never in the CLUTCH. On my scale from 1-10 this record gets a 4. Anyone who calls THIS a DISCO CLASSIC did way too much drugs.
