Jul 20, 2007 | 11:37 amLeif does this cover of Detroit Emeralds in two different versions. The first, from the late 1978,long about 3,28 minutes i think is the better one, where Leif sing it more slowly with strong and his real teen-sexy voice, insert in the 33rpm with the same name, the last song of the B side. This version is the same he playback on his tv-show THE LEIF GARRETT SPECIAL in the early 1979. But in 1979 Leif topped the international charts with I MADE FOR DANCIN',and so immediately he recored another version of FEEL THE NEED,more long,in falsetto, like the disco sides of Bee Gees. This is the single version.

Jan 03, 2007 | 9:54 pmNothing merited Leif's homeless fate, but this was a big sin even for a cute twink. What an awful cover of the Detroit Emeralds, who had remade, and in a supreme disco-magical remix by Tom Moulton, BETTERED the funky original by Graham Central Station!

Another nice and unknow disco-side of Leif was the ipnotic MOONLIGHT DANCIN' from the third album Same Goes For You. It was quite famous in Spain and Italy.
