Apr 06, 2009 | 7:41 pmIt was a great song, i used to play it a lot in the clubs, in Rio, Brazil. It was a fever on the dance
floor!
By the way, How do we really pronounce the name of that group? "La Flavur or La Fleivor?" In the French way or in the English way?

Apr 29, 2008 | 3:05 pmLove this solid album. "Mandolay" is great! I also love "You can't kill the beat." It's slower, funky as hell, and it defends disco to all the haters at that time ( or forever?). " They say that disco is dumb, but what's in a name" To me it's my disco anthem!

Jan 08, 2006 | 3:38 pmLatin feel to make you want to Cha-cha across the dance floor!

To the one question -- the pronunciation of the group is simple English as in, "La Flavor". They just used a fancy spelling. The band is still together with most of its original members (now in their 50's and 60's) and actively playing around the area of their home towns in the Akron-Canton OH area. They still draw great crowds wherever they appear. Visit their website LaFlavour.com where an audio track of Mandolay plays on the home page.
