Alton McClain & Destiny's second LP, despite being released at the end of the disco era in 1980, was a lot more dancefloor orientated than its predecessor.

"Love Waves" was probably the most famous disco hit. In fact 6 out of the 8 songs are uptempo, the first two songs on Side B being the ballads.

"Hang On In There Baby" is actually a duet with Johnny Bristol in a remake of his most famous song. Johnny had also been busy duetting with Amii Stewart the same year.

"Stares and Whispers" is a cover of Freda Payne's title track from her 1977 LP, and features an introduction where Destiny gossip that "Alton's man walked out on her" with Alton crying in the background!
