Its the A side of this 12" that gets all the praise, with the B side getting bashed for not being like the flip. But Snap It isn't too bad. Its a cross between southern country soul and new york latin disco. I love the drum and conga breakdowns, which I believe are played by Jimmy Young and Carlos Martin (of Warren Schatz/The Brothers fame), who are credited on the Happy Walk album this track is taken from. This 3 minute version has 2 breakdowns, while the LP version is just over 4 minutes long and has a third conga and drum breakdown. Sadly, the rest of the Phil Medley album isn't like this track, otherwise I would recommend that as well. No information on the LP sleeve as to what 'MVB' stands for.
