I have this, along with a promo copy of the the full-length "Sun...Sun...Sun..." LP, by Johnny Melfi, with Jakki doing backgrounds. This 12" is a remix from that LP, that cuts into itself over and over and over and over, again. But, between the two, I'll be able to make an emergency mortgage payment, some day. :o)

It seems people either HATE, or LOVE this track ("Sun Sun Sun", of course). I find it really quite genius. The cut-up mix is weird at first, granted, but it works wonders nonetheless. I've just posted the French pressing of this, which is a shorter (7'44) version in the same vein. The LP is a must-have as well.

Johnny Melfi, also wrote and produced the excellent Disco hit "Like her" by Gentlemen and their Lady (featuring Danny Mitchell), He also wrote "Find my way" the first club hit I remember by the group Cameo, this track was later part of the film TGIF’s soundtrack.
