This wonderful record actually spent 1 week at no 68 in the UK charts in September 1978. Not quite sure where they originated from but I think a French/UK/Italian Collection on this Euro disco ditty. The woman in this song sounds like the sleaziest bird you'll ever meet, singing "Mandrake, Mandrake, Magic Mandrake, Oh you wonderful man, If I could only have you, I'd ask you to make me fly, Oh to change this dirty city in to a rose petal garden."
The B side "Mephisto" Is an equally classic piece of pounding Euro Disco starting off with a huge explosion and a wizard like man howling "Mephisto"!! Fabulous stuff!
