Tyrants In Therapy are a group from the Los Angeles area best known for their avante garde music rather than this very good dance track from 1986. "Too Tough To Cry" was a fave on the West Coast dance music scene. Produced by Sabby Rayas of Desire's "Crazy Over You" fame.
In 2000 Tyrants In Therapy members collaborated with a member of Trans-X for an album called "Meet the Tyrants In Therapy," which yeilded the single "Om Shanti Om."

The Tyrants in Therapy have released more than a dozen 12" dance singles on the JDC, Sheik, and TSR labels, all indies based in LA.
"Too Tuff to Cry" was the biggest seller, but dance fans might remember "Call of the Wild," "Crazy Dreams," "Paint It Pink," and "Big Pink House." Also "P-p-Power of Love," & "Matter of Time," (both by Abbe Abbe) plus "Sweet Magic" by Dreams Come True, a TIT offshoot project.
Our first release was pretty weird, it contained "In the Shadow of Hitler," Underground Girl," and "3 People (nude below the Waist," which was recently compiled on the Party Keller cd by Compost Records in Germany.
