MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

This Crystal Grass featuring Steve Leach record's credits almost read like the who's who of French disco (excluding Alec R. Costandinos and Cerrone of course)

Raymond Donnez (Don Ray) is co-arranger and on keyboards;
Marc Chantereau (Voyage) is on percussion;
Leroy Gomez on saxophone (solo singer and with Santa Esmeralda)

The LP itself is variable; it contains a mix of disco, pop, funk and ballads. Highlights for me are the fast and frantic "Fio Maravilha - Taj Mahal" and the mid-tempo number "You Can Be What You Dream".

  • Carlos

    I've been looking for this album for a long time now, I prefer the Cd, does anyone know where I can find it.
    I would like also to sample it. The song I'm interested in is Taj Mahal, I want to make sure is the right version.
    Thanks
    The links here don't have it.
