At first glance the cover of this record looks like many other classical records issued in the 60s and 70s. Look closer, and you see the people disco dancing on the cover, and you realise that maybe this record is not what it first appears!
The record accurately reflects its cover, it is in fact 8 famous classical pieces given a disco flavour. The 1812 Overture in fact has a slightly reggae feel.
Dvorak's Prince Igor will be recognised by those more familiar with disco than classical music as the tune that "Stranger in Paradise" was based on, as performed by Isaac Hayes and Jupiter Sunset Band.
