Easy Going earlier had a track on Prism called "Baby I Love You," but "Fear" is an all out raunchy cut and highly sought after by collectors and DJs.

I have both this American remix, and the original 12" on vinyl. I love both, but they are VERY different. The American remix slows the track down from a very brisk 135-138 bpm to about 126-128 bpm making a drastic change in the pitch and sound of the song. This version splices on a lot of extra conga and bass drum, creating an entirely new intro and extended breaks, with a very racy rap, adding STRONGLY to the thinly veiled homoeroticism of the original. The remix about doubles the length of the original track. One downside to this version is that it totally eliminates the memorable 'screaming and siren' break in the original mix of the song.
The rap has breathy come-ons by a woman trying to coax a shy guy 'into her bush'. As he makes weak excuses why he doesn't want to go there, it's obvious that he's more interested in a silent stranger with a 'lump in his pants'. It's almost hysterically funny to listen to this monologue dancing around the subject of Bi and Homosexuality in these days, when song lyrics are SO much more blatant, but the new rappy sections are pretty hard to resist with the constant rhythm underneath
