Peter Brown had an excellent track on RCA Records in 1982 called "Baby Gets High." Brown hit on a perfect combination of smooth yet gritty vocals with a funky urban sound that still showed his Disco roots. "Baby Gets High" was taken from the "Back To the Front" LP. Highly recommended.

Mar 04, 2008 | 9:54 amI had quite a few girls that this song reminded me of. BABY GETS HIGH wasn't all about the music, it said a lot more. I played this song with much enthusiasm in the PRIME TIME hours. It worked very well. Not a classic, but a strong song never-the-less.On my scale from 1-10 it gets a strong 8.
Baby Gets High is a track you will either hate or love, depending on your mood when listening to it, much like all other songs from Peter Brown. Indeed being a hard-to-find rarity, this song is limited to just vinyl.
