Something to keep on the lookout for on the small Acme label by Johnny Dynell and New York 88 .
Not popular, but I like it and I think so will many with open minds. Kenton Nix, the producer of Taana Gardner on West End Records, was behind this one.
I would have to descxribe "Jam Hot (Rhumba Rock)" as Kid Creole meets Arthur Russell if you can imagine that.
