Feb 15, 2005 | 3:15 amBILLY PAUL was always one of the hippest talents on Philly International, mixing together soul and jazz influences with a deeper sense of spirituality, and long experience as a sophisticated vocalist.
He had hit the disco scene in 1977 with "Only the strong survive". "Bring the family back", is a true disco classic.

"Bring the Family Back" (5:53) b/w "It's Critical" (6:33) was issued as a promotional 12" (2Z8 3678) in 1979 on Philadelphia International by CBS under its subsidiary label numbering system which made no distinction between commercial and promotional releases.
