"Let's Do The Latin Hustle" by Eddie Drennon is such a great song-I just love it! The song has an almost ethereal quality to it. Perhaps it's the reverb?
This is a very early Friends Record 12 inch release that can be hard to find. Remixed by the godfather of the 12 inch Disco mix Mr. Tom Moulton.

EDDIE DRENNON played all over the New York City area with various bands, mostly Latin SALSA or Cuban CHARANGA bands. He was very good, a fabulous musician. I remember him giving me a test pressing of COME ON BABY, LET'S DO THE LATIN HUSTLE. What was outstanding, is that EDDIE DRENNON isn't Spanish at all! This was a standard on the dance floors, always great with the HUSTLE crowd. Good to mix, fantastic to dance to. On my scale from 1-10 it gets a 8.
