The classic "Doctor's Orders" appeared in 1975 on Carol Douglas ' album on the Midland International Records label.
Although the record credits Ed O'Loughlin as producer I found out differently while conducting an interview with Meco Monardo. Read my interview to find out the whole story. Another good Douglas track is "Midnight Love Affair."

This song was being played at selected DISCOS in New York City as early as late 1973. A 7" 45 version was around in 1974, it was burned out in DISCOS. The Album came out in early 1975, months after it was finished. Why did this take so long? Who knows. who cares, it was a great song on a mediocre LP. I am a big CAROL DOUGLAS fan, booked her at many of my clubs in the 70's.DOCTOR'S ORDERS could be one of the BEST DISCO CLASSICS ever! Of course it gets a very easy TEN on my scale from 1-10.
