BOTH versions were very popular. They packed and maintained the dance floor. Certainly a DISCO CLASSIC. Not very deejay friendly, but that made it fun to work with. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 10.

A cover of this song by Chuck Jackson was released on a Channel Records 12" (CD103D) in the early 80's (?), this version was more on the funky side.
