A new producer and a new decade brought a completely different sound from Voyage. Gone are the lush instrumentals in favor of rock-edged vocals. "I Love You Dance" is actually quite good despite not being played much back in the day.

My buddy and I used to love this song. One night he dropped me off at my car after a night in the clubs. . . . .and halfway home "I Love You Dancer" comes on the radio. I made a hasty u turn and said I need to go catch up with him as we had not heard the song in a few years. . . . well. . . .we almost had a head on collision as when I made a quick left turn he was having the same thought and trying to catch me!
We stopped both cars, camaro and firebird in middle of the street and were dancing on the hoods of the cars. . . ..

voyage was a extraordinary band epecially this three songs "i love your dancer", "all the way" and in less category "i don't wat to fall in love again".
in my opinion this album from 1980 was one of the best disk of the funky, soul & disco dance of all.
They are similar artist like "brick" who had a song called "ain't gonna hurt nobody" or another group is "the dazz band" who had another exellent song called "let's whip it".

Yes, it is the same Voyage, but on this third album the lineup was a little different as the female vocalist had left.

Actually I'm 40 years old. In 1979 I bought Voyage Lp, with the song I don't want to fall in love again. Unfortunatly I lost that LP. I've traying seens 1 year to get that song, I would know if you can please tell me the price of it.
In other comment, the people ALWAYS confuse this group with the other that plas only disco music, thats a sahme. Thank you.

When I used to hear WKTU back in the day, " I love you dancer" was being played. It made me run out an get the LP. It is the really great track out of the LP. What ever happen to the black female singer?????
If anyone can helps me with the lyrics to "I love you dancer" and "I don't fall in love again" by Voyage band, I would be incredibly thankful. Peace. Gil-Brazil.
