MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Arthur Fiedler, the conductor of the famed Boston Pops Orchestra, jumped on the Disco bandwagon two years after the introduction of the movie Saturday Night Fever. This entire album, which is produced by John Davis of John Davis and the Monster Orchestra, is Arthur's interpretation of Saturday Night Fever done Pops style. The cover of Fiedler posing like John Travolta in a white polyester suit is very funny.

FYI: Salsoul Records also did a take on the whole Saturday Night Fever concept with Vincent Montana conducting the Salsoul Orchestra in the album, Salsoul Saturday Night Disco Party.
