Mar 06, 2008 | 7:13 amThis is an album that every DISCO fan should own. Besides RUNAWAY LOVE it had LINDA'S other DISCO CLASSIC IF MY FRIENDS COULD SEE ME NOW!!! And this inspirational song took over many a club. In THE COPACABANA(New York City) it would pack the floor, and continue to draw more dancers the longer I played it. Having multiple copies I would extend it, remix it, and give the crowd more of what they wanted. LINDA'S very strong voice dominates this song, and it never failed me. Today you could play this song during an OLDIES set and get a great response. On my scale from 1-10 it gets an obvious 10.
I still remember seeing Linda for the first time on Canadian TV ; doing the whole 8 minutes version of IF MY FRIENDS...I became such a fan based on that one performance.
