- Third World had a huge reggae-Disco smash with the Gamble and Huff penned "Now That We Found Love" from 1978. Produced by Alex Sakin who also had a hand in many early hits for T-Connection such as "Disco magic" and "Do What You Wanna Do."
"Now That We Found Love is an absolute classic and was re-released / re-mixed in 1985 by Paul Hardcastle with another version by Neil King. One should check out other Third World cuts such as "Try Jah Love" and "Sense of Purpose."

When you talk DISCO CLASSICS, this record should be in the conversation, but usually isn't. It is a very under-appreciated, and under-rated record. Great introduction, great percussion and great breaks equal a very deejay friendly record. NOW THAT WE FOUND LOVE put people on the dance floor, and kept them there. I never saw anyone leave the floor when I played this record. So with all that going for it, why is it under appreciated? The times were a changing, DISCO was evolving, getting away from the R&B/soul foundation, and becoming more Euro-Disco. That is the only reasonable explanation. But it doesn't change the fact, that this record ruled!! It is a great DISCO CLASSIC. On my scale from 1-10, it gets a 10.
