MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES

Tempest Trio released only one album, but it yielded the great single, "Love Machine." Produced by Mike Theodore and Dennis Coffey, it follows their tried and true Disco formula that many have heard on material such as "Devil's Gun (CJ & Co), "The Bull" and "High On Mad Mountain."

"Love Machine" is the best cut, but "Do You Like (The Way That it Feels?) and "Last Call for Love" are good enough to raise an eyebrow while shaking your booty.

Edgier than any the producers' earlier efforts I've heard, except for Dennis Coffey's 1971 "Scorpio." This is, of course, much more danceable. A CD release would be welcome.
