MUSIC REVIEW & RECORD COLLECTOR NOTES
Gary Criss had a very popular Disco track called "Rio De Janeiro" on Salsoul Records. Although it can get a little tedious at over 8 minutes it still is a must have in any Disco record collection and a classic.

Bernie, please! You can't seriously call this a CLASSIC! It was okay, maybe even good, but no way a CLASSIC. That term means one of the best, far from what RIO DE JANERO is. A record that got some air play, but no where near what a CLASSIC would have received. Here is how you can tell whether it is a CLASSIC or not. Play it in the middle of a strong set, or play it with other CLASSIC oldies. If you lose the floor (and you will) it can't be a CLASSIC. In fact on my scale from 1-10, this only gets a 6.
