The Discocuecas is a very popular novelty group from the south of Brazil in the late 70s. They produced a couple of disco singles during that time. This one is their first (and best) track. Altough Discocuecas were a novelty group, this track is not a joke. It's just an invite to dance and have fun. They had some airplay and did some TV apearences where they used to show up wearing just tuxedo coats and pink underpants!!! They were formed by four radiuo DJ's. The track '… SÛ DanÁar' is very hard to find, its string arrangements are surprisingly decent and the disco beat and percussions are good. The weakest point is the poor bassline. Anyway, it's an interesting piece for hardcore disco fans.
