- The Constellation Orchestra was another excellent Dillard & Boyce production. "Perfect Love Affair" is the track on this album, but the others are notable as well.
Constellation Orchestra was a great blend of funky rhythms with swirling strings.
Dillard & Boyce were also involved with Lorraine Johnson's "Feed the Flame" and Saturday Night Band's "Come On And Dance, Dance" and "Keep Those Lovers Dancing" which were on Prelude Records. Frisky's "You've Got Me Dancing In My Sleep" was on Vanguard Records.
Moses Dillard had been involved with Soul since 1964 eginning with Moses Dillard & the Dynamic Showmen and was noticed by Otis Redding.
Jesse Boyce, a Florida native was part of the FAME Rhythm section, which played backup for many Soul singers.

i like 'cosmic melody' on here as well! It's got that 'Saturday Night Band' signature sound.

This is a fantastic album from beginning to end.
The CD version contains an additional track. A radio edit of "Perfect Love Affair."
