The Washington D.C. area was home to a short lived stlye called Go-Go music with its main cast of characters being Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers.

In 1988 Chuck Brown and others got together to create the Go-Go Posse and record this record, "D.C. Don't Stand for Dodge City." Only get this if you are into Go-Go music.
