Not sure who Marti is, but "Hey Love" is one of those syrupy "go nowhere" Disco productions. Best to avoid this release.

Aug 24, 2006 | 2:03 pmI saw Marti in concert once in one of the local clubs in Miami, back in the late 70's. He was about 12 years old at the time.
I remember all the girls going crazy when he started to sing this song.

Jun 09, 2006 | 8:48 amThis record did very well on the Dance floors of Miami's clubs, especially loved by the local Hustle Dancers of the day.
And for the collectors out there…
Before appearing on this TK 12" this track was initially released in 1978 by Euphoria Records on both a 7 inch single (ERD-10) and a nice picture sleeve 12" (ERD-101) cutting at around 7:30 minutes long.

Mar 31, 2004 | 1:47 pmThis record grossed sales over 12 million dollars, not too bad for a syrupy Disco record. Plasencia and Garcia-Carranza went on to write music and do music consulting for Gloria Stefan when she was starting her career. two of her first hits were arranged by these two writers.
Bo Crane

Marti was a female and a very good looking one at that!! She has a very special place in my heart. I would love to find out where she is, how life has treated her. Last I knew of her she was working for Bellsouth and moonlighting as an arobics instructor in Miami.
