The "Suite Lady" LP by Gap Mangione is a nice mixture of Jazz with some funky elements lurking beneath like on the "Sister Jo" medley. Very nicely recorded and a recommended album should you come across it. Producer, Larry Carlton was a Jazz guitarist who won a Grammy for his "Hill Street Blues" television theme.
