"Weekend" by Class Action on New York's Sleeping Bag label was a cover of the 1978 Patrick Adams and Leroy Burgess produced 'Weekend" by Phreek. At least three different artists have done this song.
The Class Action version featured here was produced by Bob Blank who also produced Fonda Rae's "Over Like A Fat Rat on Vanguard. It includes mixes by the late Larry Levan and the M & M team of Sergio Muzibai & John Morales.
